Tribute to Networkers…your standing ovation Dear networker, IT’S GREAT SPEAKING WITH YOU… even in this cyber space.We may not have met face-to-face but I feel I know you. We are kindred spirits because we believe in the network marketing home business. We embrace the concepts it stands for: equality, fraternity, co-operation and financial independence. I respect you for your entrepreneurship…taking ownership, being accountable and proactive in improving your situation. I ’m not going to offer platitudes that you deserve more, need to work harder or believe more in yourself…those are given  attributes in this business.I am going to offer the proposition that if something isn’t working, then you need to refocus, redirect and try something new and different.It is time to stop what some may perceive as a “fly-by-night” ploy using the pursuit of happiness and a better lifestyle in order to promote an opportunity that pays limited earnings to the majority of participants. It is time to stop the pretense that scores of people will willingly listen and follow what we do until we start to produce the results we all want.  SOMETHING DIFFERENTMy sole purpose is to present a different viewpoint and something very practical to go beyond what we understand as a conventional system to a more empowering system that shows the true potential of network marketing. We hold in our hands an amazing home business model with no earnings “cap” not found in any other business. We have the power to duplicate multi-level profits over and over again so even our grandchildren can enjoy our abundance.  So what can we say about the current Old School Marketing System that is not functioning well for the majority of networkers? Then, what can we discover about a better solution with a New School Marketing System and what makes it work, purely at a logical level? TWO CONVICTIONS UPFRONTFirst, as our economic climate faces unprecedented turbulence, it becomes even more imperative for people to have a home business and gain some control over their personal economy whether to make some extra spending money or a lot of money depending on personal initiative. This network marketing business model will be the answer as the “greatest source of grassroots capitalism. You learn  how to take a small bit of capital…which is Time and a small bit of capitalism which is Money, and start the American dream” (Jim Rohn).  It is compassionate groups who can buy together and support each others cash-flow when working for an income becomes less secure. (We call a JOB trading hours for dollars.) The power of earning commissions from multiple levels of a monthly consumption network is a powerful income generating tool but we need to adjust the gears, ignite that ONE key sparkplug, and make it work better.  Second, there are serious challenges on two fronts to address before we can hope to realize general consensus on the first. We need to empower and improve personal success as a better standard for others to emulate….talk the talk but, also walk the walkWe need to educate and improve public perception and market acceptance. There are already many comprehensive general overviews of this networking business,  but what is missing is the one “democratic” key that can be operated by all the people at all levels in their comfort zones. The analogy is to show them a true marketing vehicle so simple and all-purpose to drive that every home business opportunity seeker will ask for a test drive.   WORKING WELL FOR A FEW…BUT WHAT ABOUT YOU? We know the industry structure works brilliantly for a very small percentage of entrepreneurs. They carry a big stick with a diamond sparkling carrot and may even inspire us to work harder to get a piece of that kind of prosperity. They are the “leaders”, charismatic, with years of expertise and connections, even corporate perks, with sophisticated training systems who are able to spend hundreds and even thousands of dollars monthly on advertising hoping to attract other leaders.  At least, that has been my experience, and perhaps yours.But as hard as we work it doesn’t happen. We end up spending more money than we ever make. The central foundation of our network marketing is that every one regardless of age, sex, race, schooling, or background can truly have an equal playing field for success. It is a sad commentary, indeed, if this last “grass roots bastion of free enterprise” is to be controlled by, or limited to, the elite networkers with unlimited spending power. SO WHAT ARE THE PROBLEMS?What are some of the struggles experienced by 95% of networkers following this conventional Old School marketing system? Guaranteed, I have dealt with the exact same questions and frustrations that you are probably going through right now. I’m sure you can relate to these issuesIt wasn't easy chasing friends and  family, cold calling, prospecting strangers in shopping malls, posting flyers, handing out business cards, following the endless training calls from upline sponsors...all the while not seeing ANY results for these efforts. We may even have had a few successes in our warm market, but that road quickly petered out to “nowhere” with less people who wanted to hear about potential “riches” that never materialized for anyone. We’ve attended "rah-rah" training events and conventions, passed out sets of promotional materials and endured confidence-shattering personal business pitches when someone would ask “Sounds like a great idea …but how has it worked out for you so far?”  We may have even wondered about how to “magnetize” our personalities in order to be viewed as “experts” that would attract a multitude of “hungry” prospects.” Most of us have stared at our month end reports after several months of dutiful effort thinking whether this business was just a pipe-dream meant for the rich and famous but not for us.  WHAT’S THE GOOD NEWS?The good news is that the belief system remains strong. And that link alone determines how much weight the whole chain can lift… Therefore, we must strive as business owners to focus on identifying and strengthening that weakest link.”THIS IS A POWERFUL INSIGHT.Therefore, the $64,000 question is to use a system that addresses the weakest link in network marketing; namely, the marketing plan. It needs to be brief, but comprehensive enough to highlight the main benefits, a complete overview where everyone can visualize the big picture, understand the value of leverage and then is ready to duplicate it, time effectively, without loss of critical information.TWO MARKETING SYSTEMS   Old School Marketing System  New School Educational Marketing System    OLD SCHOOL MARKETING…HOW HAS IT WORKED FOR YOU In one sentence: the Old School conventional marketing is about  promoting  products and opportunity through an extensive information process via  marketing tools to a large list of people with team support and consistent follow-ups with the intention of new prospects eventually joining. This system can work especially for experienced networkers who work full time at contacting and training. But it hasn’t worked for me or for others who gain a handful of new recruits, meager compensation, and it certainly becomes a major obstruction for new people to promote. Can you relate to some of these scenarios?do you hand out too much information? Information overload is impossible to duplicate. Have you had this experience? Let’s say you just sign up a new prospect, Mary, who is finally excited about the opportunity of making some much needed extra money. Now, as a good sponsor, you send her all the training materials, schedules, contact lists and encourage her to go to and talk to her contacts with you by her side with 3-way calls. I have actually passed on a “training follow-up” that consisted of three downloads of material and zip folders galore! This is insanity… it simply doesn’t duplicate. No wonder, after a few short unproductive months of trying to show the system, Mary gives up, stops returning your calls and another disappointed reaction hits the public waves.  do you find yourself having to build a list, recruit and train a small army before you make any real money? Have you ever been told that this is a “name-collection” game?
