Changes are everywhere, part of the flux and flow of progress whether in the national economy, work place, culture, social media, or personal patterns of living.

One of the leading companies in the industry has many millionaires, and these leaders make their residual income from percentages paid on the "autoships" they compiled after years of concerted effort, training, teaching, expense, blood, sweat and tears, etc.


Let's say this company has a $100 autoship, not uncommon in the industry. To try to create new growth and compete in this new environment, they lower their autoship to $50. In essence, those leaders just got a 50% pay cut. An intelligent network marketing company owner would not take that chance for fear they may lose their base.


So, in reality, can these top autoship, consumable product companies re-invent themselves?




The "New School" of network marketing says that the Autoship is DEAD!


Many proponents would say, "Autoships mean permanent income."

Why Prospects Say No When Yes To That Free Thing Is A Better Way

My mentor has always advised me to treat new prospects with care and sensitivity. Walk a mile in their shoes and then speak to them again from a source of empathy and understanding. And goodness knows, I try to do this with all my heart and ask the right questions the right way. I totally embrace the golden rule of network marketing success that you can't really grow or create a residual income if you don't help others achieve their dreams. It's really that simple.



But sometimes the prospect's mindset can leave you crying in the dust because of skepticism and poverty conditioning. Here's a classic example of a person that I weep for because of attitude and probable ignorance. The sad reality is that what you don't know can be much more painful than what you think you know.

Let's call her Susan. So Susan opts in for more information about a home-based business opportunity and I give her a call. My first purpose is to introduce myself and learn a little more about what she is looking to achieve. Her husband answers the phone and I politely ask to speak to Susan. I can already hear her in background saying, "Ask her what she's selling." She has already established a no-win situation and was coming from the victim type mentality.When she got on the phone, I reminded her that she has opted into one of my emails and I was just following up to answer any questions.


"What's your business?" she asked curtly.


I reply, "Our team promotes a new company called That Free Thing. Simply put, it provides thousands of Free Products and Free Services to our members from companies all over the world. Our products are updated daily and we have over 8 years of experience finding and negotiating the best free stuff available. We compensate our members who share with people who love free stuff. It's fun, it's easy and it's profitable in every way. Can you imagine anything better than getting free stuff AND putting money in your pocket at the same time. Let me give you a number that will tell you more how to get free products and make money from home."


"How much will this cost me?'" she asked.


I said, "Membership is a one-time cost of $25 and monthly fee is $10 and you have a home business."


Anybody who is not willing to invest $25 into a potential huge home business is probably not right for a business of any kind, especially with a risk free cancellation.


So Susan says, "Well if you were going to apply for a job at McDonald's would they ask you to pay up front just so you can apply?"


Well, I guess, I wasn't really in the mood to debate, so I just said, "Sysan, I don't think this is for you. But I hope you can get a job at McDonald's if you try." And said goodbye.



Afterwards, I felt bad because I could have spent more time explaining the difference of working fixed hours for fixed wages versus residual income paid over and over again on initial work. There is a big difference between an employee at a job and an entrepreneur building his own business for life. Even if you feel secure and successful at your job today without a leveraged model with residual income like network marketing, you are not the master of you own destiny.


I could have reminded her that the OWNER of McDonald's probably paid a million or more dollars for his BUSINESS. You have a chance to start a real home business for $25 and get free products, services and offers to boot.

The ultimate sad reality is that Susan probably felt smugly happy being disqualifed without a sales pitch so she could confirm in her own head that this was a scam anyway and now she can get back to her ho-hum, broke, people are out- to- get- me anyway mindset.

There are people who are open to look at things in new ways of becoming freer and those who will never get it.  My job is not to convince or sell or try to change Susan's years and years of employee mindset or scarcity mindset. Not my skill or my job. My first step was to invite her to listen to a conference call and get her initial questions answered. My second step was to invite her to a webinar so she could get more information and get her questions answered by the top people. My third step was to show her how she could start to get free products as well by becoming a member.


The question left to ponder is who was the biggest loser? Is it Susan because she prejudged without listening properly? Or is it me because my time will now be spent finding other people who will plug into a simple 3 steps program.

The moral of this story for every home business opportunity seeker is to trust yourseslf for even a minor mindset swing. Take a swing into possibilities. Take a swing into the fact that there are good guys out there to help. A swing into what if, this prelaunch of That Free Thing company turns out to be the biggest ground floor opportunity yet. A swing into capitalizing on leaders who have all made millions of dollars and they are sitting at the top of this company ready to bring in thousands of people with their marketing. How Numbers Justify Your Network Marketing Home Business - Rational Reality

Whether you like numbers or not, these simple digits from 0 to 9 may just be the closest things we have for rational reality. These Hindu-Arabic numerical symbols have been used in counting and measuring for centuries. Their quantitative mathematical formulas can provide valuable insight into how something works, including all kinds of businesses. Who hasn't looked at these meaningful digits and wondered about market trends, inflation, recession, credit scores, retirement, resources, bank accounts, and consumer confidence?



So what is the relevance of numbers to a home business? Let's consider three important scenarios.



SCENARIO ONE: Here's the big problem with numbers when you work at a job.


As an employee you work at a job that may average 40 hours, 5 days per week, 52 weeks per year. That's a total of 2080 hours per year that you have traded in as services for the boss.


Now let's look at a typical company boss who has 50 employees working 8 hours per day, 5 days per week, 52 weeks per year. This adds up to a total of 104,000 hours worked per year on behalf of his' company. He may have worked 2000 hours or less if he also happened to enjoy fishing or golfing.


Imagine working another 40 years building the boss' dream and retiring with 40% less money than when you worked full time.


How fair do you think that is? Would you want that kind of leverage? Have you ever done that math?


The wealthy have been benefiting from such a strategy for centuries investing a couple hours a day.


Let's say you and your team can build an organization of 100 people who worked just 1 hour a day, 5 days a week, and 52 weeks a year. That would amass to 26000 hours that you could benefit from. If you wanted to get that much work done by yourself you would need to work 3250 8-hour days or nearly 9 years!


However, using leverage you worked one hour and so did your organization. Now, just think, what if those people worked 2 hours per day?

What are your chances to get that much work done in a "linear - job style" income scenario?


Now what if those 100 people had the authority to hire 1 new person next month, and then all of those 200 people worked 2 hours a day for 5 days a week over 52 weeks a year?


Do you see why the rich get richer?

Do the math, and decide if your only source of money is caught in a linear income TRAP.


Time leverage is a beautiful thing.

Knowledge leverage is a beautiful thing. You don't have to spend years becoming an expert in your field. You can share the expertise with a video or webinar. People either get it what top masterminds are saying or not.

Here's an example:



SCENARIO TWO: Most network marketing compensation plans are based on multiple levels of residual income.


Here is a typical example for a 6 month cash-flow projection. This really made a personal impact.

Let's say as a serious networker, you enroll 4 new members per month for 6 months at $25 commission per member.

New members per month: 4 x 6 = 24 new members on Level One.


$25 per member commission = $600 per month after 6 months on Level One.

Let's assume the 80/20 rule for your new members now on your Level Two.


20% of new members will be above average and sponsor 10 new members over 6 months.


20% of 24 new members = 5 (approx) x 10 = 50 new members on your Level Two.


(The assumption here is average sign-up rate of the 20% folks is about 2 per month).


80%, or the balance of your new members, just sign up 5 new members over 6 month period.






That's 19 X 5 = 95 new members for a total of 195 new members on your second level.


Total new members on your second level based on 20% results + 80% results.






Now, here is your TOTAL monthly residual earnings: $2550 after 6 months.


24 new members on Level One = 24 x $25/month = $600.


195 new members on Level Two = 195 x $10/month = $1950.



Now, here's the BIG financial question: What is the equivalent amount of money you would need in your savings account to earn the same (assuming a 2% interest rate)?


You would need about $1, 500,000!


Again, you don't have to be a mastermind to see how these numbers work.






SCENARIO 3: The most dangerous number for personal economy is ONE.


It's a simple fact that any business lives and dies by numbers. But have you ever thought that the most dangerous number to any business is the number 1. What does that mean?

Well, nothing can hurt you MORE than relying on ONE of anything.

There are some interesting correlations and differences between the need for physical health and the search for financial health.


This new awareness is based on the struggles of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) patients. My twin brothers, in their late 40’s, have had MS for the past 15 years. From strong, able-bodied farmers and millworkers, fathers and husbands, they struggle daily with sheer determination to stay independent. They once experienced robust health and strength...it is now lost and they will do anything to reclaim it.


Their story for health independence (as well as for all MS patients) started with a CTV W5 report on November 2009 about some breakthrough research by Dr. Zamboni...a vascular surgeon from Italy. He reported on several years of research and the connection he saw between restricted veins (called stenosis) in the necks and chests of MS patients that contributed to their symptoms. Malformed veins caused blood from the brain to drain improperly, potentially setting off the immune response that marks MS. Treatment consisted of balloon angioplasty (venoplasty) to open the constrictions and improve blood flow…commonly performed for many different kinds of artery or vein problems. The condition of narrowed veins is called CCSVI and the procedure to open them is called the LIBERATION TREATMENT. Health improvement results have been astounding.


The problem from mainstream traditional Health Boards, neurologists and MS Societies is there has to be more researched double blinded studies and trials before this simple procedure could be offered here…as if, somehow Italians are different from Americans and Canadians..

I cry for those MS patients , like my brothers, whose lives have been put on hold by bureaucracies and to-be-funded competitions .
